Health Summit Asia 2026 Set To Unite ASEAN Healthcare And Wellness Leaders

By Business Today Editorial Health Summit Asia (HSA) 2026 launches as a major regional platform uniting healthcare and wellness stakeholders to drive integrated, sustainable solutions across Asia. Scheduled for 20-22 May 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the event combines a high-level conference on market trends, investment opportunities, and emerging technologies with targeted networking among leaders, innovators, policymakers, and investors. Organised by Qube Integrated Malaysia and co-organised by Green Wellness Malaysia, HSA merges SEACare, Malaysia’s leading B2B healthcare platform, with the International Wellness Expo (IWE), the nation’s top wellness event. The summit reflects Asia’s shift towards preventive care, lifestyle-focused health, and holistic wellbeing, aligning with Malaysia’s government push for primary and preventive healthcare under the Agenda Nasional Malaysia Sihat. At a soft launch in Kuala Lumpur today, Deputy Minister of Health YB Dato’ Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib highlighted the summit’s importance. “The Ministry of Health’s vision is clear: to ensure a healthier Malaysia through equitable, accessible, and sustainable healthcare,” she said. “Summits like HSA 2026 are vital. They provide the platform needed for dialogue on innovation, investment, and emerging technologies that will define our future.” Malaysia’s healthcare sector is transforming rapidly, driven by digital health, AI diagnostics, and public-private partnerships aimed at building a more resilient system. This trend mirrors developments across Asia, where leaders are using AI, digital platforms, and data-driven care to address pressures on health systems. HSA 2026 meets this demand with discussions on technology, policy, and consumer shifts reshaping the healthcare economy, plus an exhibition featuring medical devices, wearables, digital platforms, hospital infrastructure, and automation. Business matching sessions will connect regional players for market entry and distribution, while public-private partnerships will support regulatory alignment, incentives, and shared infrastructure. “The summit’s tagline, ‘Discover. Connect. Collaborate.’ reflects the role Health Summit Asia is designed to play,” said Richard Teo, Executive Chairman of Qube Integrated Malaysia. “With Malaysia’s growing health tech sector and ASEAN’s expanding influence, HSA 2026 serves as a catalyst for collaboration, investment, and tangible progress across Southeast Asia’s healthcare economy.” Green Wellness Malaysia, active since 2012 in sustainable, toxin-free solutions and the country partner of the Global Wellness Institute, brings expertise through the International Wellness Expo (IWE). “Through IWE, we aim to support the sustainable growth of Malaysia’s wellness sector by integrating wellness insights into the broader healthcare conversation,” said Datin Dorph Peng, Founder and Managing Director. The three-day summit is expected to attract around 15,000 trade visitors, host 250 targeted B2B meetings, and generate up to RM1.5 billion in commercial opportunities across ASEAN’s healthcare and wellness markets.
